Safety, Health, and Risk Manager/ADA Coordinator

Salary Range: 50,974 - 66,266 - 89,714.
The City of Concord, an organization committed to customer service, is looking for a team-oriented professional to serve as Safety, Health, and Risk Manager/ADA Coordinator to be responsible for managing the City's safety, risk management, ADA, and workers’ compensation programs. The co-worker evaluates and makes recommendations on property/casualty insurance coverage required by the City; reviews agreements and contracts between the City and others to identify potential exposures; oversees vehicle accident investigations; investigates claims for damage to property and/or injuries involving citizens and employees; serves as the ADA coordinator; develops policies and procedures for work situations that are related to risk, safety, workers’ compensation, training, and research; assists upper management in the development of safety policies and procedures; prepares a variety of reports; ensures the timely filing of required compliance reports and manages the workers’ compensation program including claims administration. Supervises one safety specialist. Candidates will have excellent communication skills, a bachelor's degree and at least three to five years of experience in risk management, workers' compensation, or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.
